The factory A-pillar grab handle on the Ford Ranger is one of the most solid, vibration-dampened mounting points in the cab — and this adaptation kit lets you put a RAM mount there instead of on the windscreen or dash. Windscreen mounts bounce on rough terrain and obstruct your sightline. Dash mounts catch sunlight. The grab handle sits at a natural viewing angle and absorbs vibration before it reaches your device.
This is the adaptation hardware only. It provides the interface between the factory grab handle screw points and the RAM ball mount system, which you buy separately from RAM Mount.
