I bought the truck in December 2021 as I fancied a change from driving the van. It’s been just over a year and I’m really happy with my choice. I saw a picture of the Raptor model and knew that was the style I wanted; so at the same time as purchasing the truck, I also bought a new grill, wheel arches, bonnet scoop, panel protectors and all the added extra plastic bits. I knew I was going to take it off the road, so I purchased some cheap steel deep dish rims and stuck on the fattest tires I could, to get the wheels and tires on.
I had to give the truck a 2 inch lift so I opted for the cheap metal blocks because by that time I had run out of money. but I’m looking forward to upgrading the suspension and giving it a proper lift. I also repainted the truck myself with a spray wrap in gun metal grey. It turned out really good. Looking forward to trying something new when the weather heats up thinking maybe a chameleon effect like the old TVR’s.
