I live in Dover and work in the tech industry. Switched to the Raptor from a BMW X5, couldn’t be happier!

Added the trailing arm covers as the connectors from stock looked very exposed! added the tailgate assist just to make it a bit easier. As soon as there is one available i'll get the truck remapped.

This summer we took part in the Funball Rally, driving from Reims through a bunch of fun and challenging roads and mountain passes, including the Stelvio Pass, around Lake Garda and ending up in Venice. We had a group of 40 cars ranging from a 2CV through to fast Minis, a custom-built Ford Mustang, Audi R8, Aston Martins, a GT3 and one shiny new Raptor!

The trip was an absolute blast, plenty of miles every day, but also enough time to take in the places we were visiting and to regroup and share stories in the evenings with the rest of the Funballers. Early on in the trip we went to what was the old F1 circuit near Reims; the pitlane and grandstand are still there. There was lots of fun to be had, the police showed up to move us on eventually though!

The Raptor was an absolute TON of fun for the entire journey - we had a couple of issues with parking in Reims (we are a bit big for the underground garages there!) but when we were blasting through the mountain roads there was nothing that could hold it back! We certainly surprised a few of the ‘fast’ car owners with how nimble the Raptor was. We kept it in ‘sport’ most of the time, with the Baja exhaust, obviously, and made good use of the flappy paddles to keep the revs up a bit on the hairpins - doing that and hammering the loud pedal launched us out of every hairpin with good speed and an awesome soundtrack - I don’t think I stopped smiling for the entire trip!

The whole event was really well planned, the organisers have been doing this for almost 10 years now.. We drove some amazing and really fun roads and passes, stopped at a load of beautiful places and met a great bunch of people.
