I’m from barrow, currently working in plant maintenance, just a young lad who likes pickups.

I bought this pickup in early 2025 from around 6 hours away, it came with a bullbar, lights, Ifor Williams canopy and flashing orange beacons. When I bought it, it had very little to no rust, but because I live in a coastal town (and for a little piece of mind) the first thing I did was get online and get some Lanoguard to put on. After that I started to get on with how I wanted him to look like so I removed the canopy and the beacons from the roof. After that it was a case of standard maintenance then getting some money up to start buying things. Settled on a set of 30mm spacers in the end and have just bought a new clutch which is to be put on. Spent the next few weeks researching what modifications I can do to him to improve performance from my end. Popped the bonnet and stripped the EGR system and then decided to fix the exhaust which had a hole in it. During this process the starter motor went and was a case of buying another and fitting it. Currently I am in the process of fabricating a custom exhaust for him and have turned up the torsion bars in preparation for putting some new wheels and 31” tires on it.
